MEDITATION SERVICES FOR ATHLETES

 

WEEKLY YOGA

When done right, yoga practise will take a professional athletes' practise to a whole new level. 

We'll focus on developing balance, body awareness and strengthening the mind. 

A sixty minute yoga class will support the core sport of the athlete. We'll focus on strengthening and opening one particular area of the body:

Yoga can affect positively into following:

- Support muscle 

- Increasing agility

- Strengthening the conscious mind

- Developing concentration

- Finding new focus

Yoga helps keep me balanced and fits into my lifestyle on and off the mountain. It's also a huge help when I am traveling and competing. I love to take time before events to clear my head.

MEDITATION SERVICES

Our meditation service is a holistic, comprehensive program to support athletes' mental practise. The meditation practises help the professional athlete to decrease stress and this way performance pressure as well. As a result, the ability and spam of focus can increase. A consistent meditation practise increases the quality of sleep, simultaneously enhancing the recovery from practise and possible injuries. 

Athletes, who practise visualization along with their physical practise, can align and guide the body to work in a desired way while practising or in a competing situation. 

Practising the mind through a meditation practise can support athletes to get to know their own weaknesses, on both body and mind level. Self-knowledge deepens and this way also the athlete identity and self-confidence can strengthen.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK 

We recommend to showcase meditation for athletes through our meditation workshop. In a well-tailored workshop, we will present meditation in an easily-approachable way and clearly tell about the benefits. 

 

We suggest trying the following concepts:

 

VIRTAUS -Meditation service I

Well-tailored 15-20 minute long session meditation, before or after a physical training. This helps the athlete to land in a mindful state. 

VIRTAUS -Meditation service II

Well-tailored 45-60 minute long meditation session that refreshes mind and body. Includes a guided visualization.

VIRTAUS -Meditation service III

Customized meditation workshop about the benefits of meditation and a 60-minute guided meditation. Includes scientific research approach and useful practical practises to be done both in every day life and guided.
